About Mary McGuire

Mary dreamed of the possibility of being a filmmaker since she was a kid making stop motion films with her American Girl Dolls. She found a love in video editing as soon as she got her hands on a computer and some basic editing software. Currently, Mary McGuire just graduated with BFA in Film and Television at Savannah College of Art and is looking for work in editing (especially narrative). During her time at SCAD, she spent her fall quarter in 2019 in Hong Kong, producing a project and exploring the world around her, finding new inspiration from the cultural aspects of the city. Her experiences in life with traveling to different points in the world, and close family stories and experiences has led her to inspiration in her art. Mary's goal for her work is to mold the beauty of love, humor, and the little things of life through the art form of film editing. Along with film editing, she is passionate about writing, photography, videography, audio editing, and producing.
